St. Thomas School conducts a variety of fundraisers to help with the expense of operating a school. Our goal is to keep the cost of tuition as low as possible. These fundraisers are vital for that reason.

We collect the following items: box tops, Campbell's Soup labels, used ink cartridges, old cell phones, and aluminum cans.

The biggest fundraiser we conduct is the Soup Supper for the Booster Club organization. The soup supper is always held the Sunday prior to Ash Wednesday. This year it will be held on February 3, 2008. This event is a huge carnival and soup meal.

Our next largest fundraiser is working the concession booth at the Rams games at the Edward Jone's Dome in St. Louis. We are always in need of adults to volunteer to work a game. We ask for each parent to work ONE game during the school year. You can call the school office to sign up for a training date. There will be training on July 29th at Altamont Grade School and on August 19th at Teutopolis K.C. Hall. Both training sessions start at 6:00, suggested arriving around 5:40. You must be trained each year. The dates we are to work in the 09-10 school year are: Aug. 21, Sept. 5, Sept. 27, Nov. 29th, March 28th, and April 17.

We hold the Gigantic Garage Sale twice a year (fall and spring). The money made from the garage sale is used for technology. We also have Longaberger Basket bingo night two times during the school year. In June, we hold an annual golf outing at Stone's Throw Golf Course.

SCRIP orders are placed every other Tuesday at the school office. SCRIP is a program where you can order gift cards from hundereds of stores and restaurants. We hold a breakfast one time a year in November. The next date is Nov. 9, 2008.

The 7th and 8th graders sell fruit each year in November. The profit made from this goes towards their class trip to Space Camp. The 7th and 8th graders also hold fish fries throughout the fall and winter to help fund their trip.
