Welcome to the 8th grade web page. On this page you will find several useful links to history related resources. Farther down the page you will also find links to an interactive geography quiz resource and a link to Spelling City. Spelling City provides games and activities to help students learn their weekly spelling words.

Work hard and do the best you can. Don't plan on extra credit to save you in the end. You should strive for the good grades in the first place!

The most important thing is to pay attention in class. All of the teachers give you exactly what you need to succeed. If you are not paying attention in class then you have no one to blame but yourself. School comes first, socializing can happen on the playground and not in the classroom.

Remember! Your education is what YOU make of it!

New projects are underway!! "By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail." - Benjamin Franklin The planning phase has ended! I am seeing lots of great ideas forming! Construction is now underway. Students will be working on building each component of their lesson plan during class time. Students have 4 classroom periods of construction time. During that time I will be helping with Power Points, videos, game planning and assessments. 4 class periods should be more than enough time to finish the projects. If students are having trouble, they need to let me know ASAP. I can't help if you don't ask. Don't wait until its too late and we are done in the construction phase. The next step will be to practice the lesson. Detailed directions/expectations have been given out already. Parents: If you have not seen the handout please ask for it! It should be filled out with dates up to current. Students are expected to keep that handout for the entire semester and document the project work days as they occur! Not having the worksheet is the same as incomplete homework and will be an academic check mark.
